Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of PastDue Nudge at pastdue.phillmoreworks.com. PastDue Nudge is run by Phillmore Works, Rancho Cordova, California, USA. Questions: [email protected].
What PastDue Nudge does
You add invoices you made elsewhere (client name and email, amount, due date, your pay link and invoice link). On a paid plan, PastDue Nudge emails your client up to four reminders on weekday mornings: 3 days before the due date, on the due date, and 7 and 14 days after it. Reminders are sent in your name from [email protected] with Reply-To set to your email. They stop when you mark the invoice Paid, when your client clicks "I've paid" (which pauses reminders and tells you), or when your client uses the link to stop reminders for that invoice.
PastDue Nudge never collects, holds or moves money between you and your clients. Payments go through whatever pay link or bank details you provide.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live and use PastDue Nudge for your business or freelance work.
Your responsibilities
- Only add real invoices for work you did, sent to people who actually owe you that money.
- Make sure the details you enter (amounts, dates, links, your name) are accurate. You are responsible for what the reminders say on your behalf and for your relationship with your clients.
- Don't use PastDue Nudge to send spam, harassment, threats, or anything unlawful, and don't try to get around the sending limits or disrupt the service.
- If a client asks you to stop contacting them, respect it.
We may pause reminders or close an account that breaks these rules or harms our ability to send email for other users.
Plans, billing and cancelling
- Free: the free try on the home page runs only in your browser. A free account can save 1 invoice and preview its schedule, but reminders are not sent.
- Paid: $9 per month, billed by Stripe. It includes unlimited saved invoices and up to 100 reminder emails per calendar month. You can buy 100 extra reminders for $5 (one-time). Extra reminders are used after your monthly 100 and don't expire. Once you reach the limit and have no extra reminders left, no more reminders are sent until the next month starts.
- Your subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing page (the Stripe customer portal). Cancelling stops future charges, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we'll look at it.
- If we ever change the price, we'll tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal.
Availability
We work to keep PastDue Nudge running and reminders going out on time, but it is provided as is, and we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every email will be delivered or read. Email delivery depends on your client's mail provider. Please don't rely on PastDue Nudge as your only way of tracking what you are owed.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Phillmore Works is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a late or unpaid invoice or a lost client, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using PastDue Nudge at any time and ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy). We may end the service with reasonable notice by email.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and email paid users about material changes before they take effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
